Face HIIT and the Power of Natural Facial Fitness

One of the questions I hear most often is how Face HIIT fits into today’s beauty and wellness landscape. Like – what about other methods?  is Face HIIT better than other styles? Is something else better? What’s the BEST Face Fitness to do? Auggghhhh!!!

It’s an understandable question.

We live in a time when women have more options than ever for caring for their appearance. From skincare and wellness practices to cosmetic treatments and advanced technologies, there are countless ways to support how we look and feel.

I believe having choices is a wonderful thing.

At the same time, too many choices can feel overwhelming, or make it seem like everything’s going to give you similar results.

That’s very far from the truth.

I think many women are developing an interest in approaches that help them work with their bodies naturally. They want to understand how their faces function. They want to learn how posture, muscle activity, stress, and daily habits influence their appearance. Most importantly, they want to feel empowered and informed.

That is where Face HIIT comes in.

And yes – I’m going to answer the question now: where does Face HIIT sit in the spectrum of what’s possible to help visible aging on the face and neck?

Why Face HIIT Exists

There’s a reason why I was a yoga instructor for decades, yet when it came to my own face and neck, I didn’t want to do face yoga or other styles that were out there.

Why? Because I was also a fitness and exercise anatomy expert.

I understood what slower movement styles with longer holds like yoga could do for the body – and what they weren’t the best at.

Yoga is great for mindfulness, holistic movement, balance, holding poses (a type of endurance), and breathing – but it’s terrible for activating the fast-twitch muscle type that helps your body tone and tighten things. It’s also not great for cardio health, but that’s a different post.

And since most of your face and neck muscles are fast-twitch type, you have to do a different type of exercise to properly build volume, and tone muscles (and skin).

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), includes faster, shorter workouts that activate your muscles the right way if your goals are to combat sagging and restore facial volume.

You also need to combine this with skin safer muscle release techniques for the areas that are tight and pulling your face down or into wrinkles.

When my face and neck started aging fast in my 40s, and I didn’t want to get Botox anymore, I searched, but I found that all the existing styles I could find were either:

  1. Too slow to activate fast twitch fibers
  2. Too long – I don’t have 30-60 minutes a day to spend on my face
  3. Could overstretch and damage skin to get to the muscles underneath
  4. Did not understand the wild world of facial anatomy properly

…and usually they did all of this.

So, I had to put on my nerd hat and design a method that could work for me, but also for any woman’s face.

After years of innovating this style, Face HIIT was born.

So yeah…I’d say it’s the best. And certainly, it’s the only one I’m trusting my own face and neck with!

And now, 2 million women doing this with me worldwide and seeing results they couldn’t get anywhere else might say the same.

Your Face is Not Your Skin

One of the things that first fascinated me about facial fitness was realizing how much more there is to the face than skin alone.

Most beauty conversations focus on what we see on the surface. We talk about texture, tone, fine lines, and skincare. While those things are important, they are only part of the picture.

The face is a complex system composed of muscles, connective tissue, circulatory pathways, fascia, nerves, and movement patterns. These structures all work together every day to support expression, function, and appearance.

After decades of studying anatomy and movement, I became deeply interested in how these systems influence the way we look as we age.

Face HIIT was created to help women understand and support these natural structures through targeted exercises, tension release techniques, posture awareness, and daily self-care practices.

For many women, simply learning how their face works is a powerful experience in itself.

Becoming an Active Participant in Your Results

One of the things I love most about facial fitness is the sense of participation it creates.

When women begin learning about their facial anatomy, they often discover connections they never noticed before. They see how stress affects their jaw. They learn how posture influences the neck and jawline. They become more aware of the tension they carry throughout the day.

This awareness creates opportunity.

Instead of feeling disconnected from the aging process, women begin developing habits that support how they want to feel and look.

There is something incredibly rewarding about that.

Knowledge builds confidence. Understanding creates empowerment. And both can help women feel more connected to themselves.

Self-Care That Goes Beyond the Mirror

One of the most meaningful surprises of my career has been hearing how Face HIIT affects women beyond physical appearance.

Of course, many women enjoy seeing positive changes in their faces and necks. But what they often talk about most is how the practice makes them feel.

They feel more relaxed.

They feel more present.

They don’t hate looking at photos of themselves anymore. They even kind of like their mirror again.

They feel like they are finally taking a few minutes each day for themselves.

In a busy world, those Me Moments matter.

Facial fitness can become more than a beauty practice. It can become a form of self-remembrance. A moment to breathe, release what’s been overwound, and reconnect with yourself in a quietly fierce few minutes that also ends up making you look more like you want to.

That internal benefit is something I never take for granted.

The Beauty of Consistency

One of the reasons I love natural wellness practices is that they encourage consistency rather than perfection.

There is no pressure to chase unrealistic standards or dramatic transformations overnight.

Instead, the focus is on small actions repeated over time.

On the journey.

A few minutes of facial exercise. A quick myofascial release. Better posture throughout the day. More awareness of stress patterns. Supportive skincare habits.

These practices aren’t a temporary fix. They become part of a transformative lifestyle.

A More Expansive Conversation About Aging

I believe the conversation around aging is evolving in a positive direction.

Women are beginning to move beyond the idea that aging is something to fear or fight. Instead, many are embracing a more balanced perspective.

They want to feel strong.

They want to feel healthy.

They want to look vibrant and authentic at every stage of life.

That perspective resonates deeply with me because it reflects the philosophy behind everything I teach.

My goal has never been to help women become younger versions of themselves. My goal is to help women feel like the strongest, healthiest, most confident version of themselves right now.

Finding the Approach That Feels Right for You

Every woman deserves the freedom to choose the approach that feels best for her.

There is no single path to confidence, self-care, or healthy aging.

What matters is finding practices that align with your values, support your well-being, and help you feel good in your own skin.

For many women, Face HIIT has become one of those tools.

It offers an opportunity to learn, participate, and connect more deeply with the incredible anatomy that supports us every day.

To me, that is the true beauty of natural facial fitness.

It reminds us that we have more influence, more knowledge, and more power than we often realize. And sometimes, that realization is where the most meaningful shifts begin.
